When patients book an appointment with healthcare providers of your team, they will be notified over SMS, email or push notification, depending on the notification preferences, set in your Virtual Practice.

Once an appointment has been received, healthcare providers can do the following actions:

  • Confirm appointments, resulting in a confirmation notification being sent to the patient
  • Reschedule appointments by setting an alternative timing which the patient will have to confirm
  • Cancel appointment requests that you are not available to fulfill.

Needless to say, it is very important that incoming appointment requests are handled on time. If you have an assistant/secretary helping you to manage your practice, he or she can also receive notifications when appointment bookings are made.

If you are unavailable for consultation, you can set up unavailable days by selecting the time period which prevents appointment bookings during those days.
