No, there are no hidden costs. All the details are published on the pricing page. You pay the subscription pricing published as shown in our pricing plans. Video, SMS costs are paid as per usage. That’s it.

What is the pricing for storage?

We currently do not charge for storage.

What is the pricing for SMS?

SMS sending costs apply for all SMS messages sent from your Virtual Practice, including automated event alerts and also custom messages. The cost of an SMS message depends on the location of the recipient. It is important to note that 1 SMS = 160 characters. So when sending custom SMS messages, if the message is, say 300 characters long, then it shall be considered as 2 SMS messages, by the SMS services. Overall SMS sending costs will be invoiced at the end of every month, if applicable. We also support independant SMS accounts in the Enterprise plans. You can opt to turn off certain notifications in your Virtual Practice. Contact us should you have any questions.

Is there an additional cost for video streaming?

Video streaming charges are US$0.005225 per streamed subscribed minute. Streamed subscribed minutes applies to the duration of time during which both participants are subscribing to each other’s video stream. These costs only apply for actual sessions, with both participants involved. It will not apply if one participant starts streaming video but the other participant has not joined the call. So, for a video session of 15 minutes duration, the total streamed subscribed minutes = 2 x 15. The total cost of a 15 minute video session is thus: $0.005225/min x 2 x 15 = $0.15675. Overall usage costs will be invoiced at the end of every month, if applicable.

Is there an additional cost for availing the remote monitoring feature?

There is no additional cost. For remote patient monitoring, the integration of the devices that we support is free. However, you will have to purchase the devices from their vendors directly.
